If theres one company that has harnessed the complete power of viral marketing it would have to be Old Spice. They have introduced a revolutionary marketing method which has made it's viral campaigns one of the most viewed and successful ones in the history of social media marketing. Following up with the success of their TV ad featuring Isaiah Mustafa they launched a marketing campaign with him via twitter & youtube whereby Isaiah was seen answering to his twitter messages via youtube videos. The ads were fun, catchy and with a but of celeb involvement has attracted millions of views and reports say has doubled their revenue. I just made my first ever old spice purchase the other day because of their new ad campaign. Definitely a decent product, but I feel its just another over hyped male hygiene product...next!

On the marketing side of the coin tho, one thing they have done EXTREMELY well on is respond to viral users of Twitter & Youtube. This engages a whole new marketing funnel of discussion which from what I have read, has done very well for their profits
