Evergreen Content for Backlink Earning

Postby daisy » Thu Nov 29, 2012 11:50 pm

We are living in a world, where we have to conserve the forest, reuse the wood and recycle goods to maximise benefits, while minimising cost.

Something like this applies to backlink earning as well. Less Investment, More Returns

Instead of spending more time in writing a whole new content, a different approach may be taken by just introducing what you are going to share.

A new 'blog post' or 'forum review' can begin with a crisp new information and link back to the old elaborate article which you have already posted; thus increasing viewership for the old article with your latest audience as well as the old audience.

This will give new life to the old article. By this you would have put the following steps in place.

•Fresh content on the Internet
•Lead generation
•Remarketing
•Increased revenue
•Link building

.... and an evergreen approach.

Absolutely - posting evergreen content to blogs is a great way to attract traffic through SEO, social media, word of mouth and much more.

As I was mentioning in a ticket just moments ago, it's great to build interlinks to older blog post content as well as main site pages. This is especially true of evergreen content.

This is also the kind of content that does particularly well on StumbleUpon, since it will continue to be of interest to users for a very long period.

Yeah Mike,

Social Bookmarking sites are the focus to breath life into old blog posts / news articles. This will be of interest to beginners in a certain field who are on the look out for some basic ideas as well as experts who would have reached a high saturation and don't know where to go.

Following the basics religiously helps arrive at a solution most of the time.

While bookmarking old posts, these blog posts should also be interlinked to the present blog posts or updates, for the reader to know whats trending in the industry. This will give a reassurance to the reader that they are dealing with the right people.

Since the web world is loaded with contents, retaining readers is important through content optimization.
